WEIGHT LOSS support

My weight loss journey did not start with Mounjaro. It started long before that.
At my heaviest I was over 27 stone. For years I struggled with my weight, food, consistency and the feeling that I was constantly starting again. I knew what it was like to lose weight and put it back on. I knew what it was like to feel embarrassed, frustrated and completely stuck.
Mounjaro has played a huge part in my recent weight loss, but it was never the whole plan. For me, the medication opened a window. What mattered was what I did with that window.
I focused on training, walking, protein, calories, better food choices and finally building a structure I could actually live with. I lost over 100 lbs in a year and reached a place I honestly did not think was possible for me.
This page is here to bring together the things that helped me most, along with the support, guides, blog posts and resources I wish I had when I started.

Mounjaro helped me reduce hunger and food noise, but it did not do the work for me.
One thing I always try to be honest about is that taking the injection is not the full plan. It can make things easier, but you still need to look at what you are eating, how much protein you are getting, whether you are moving enough and what habits you are building while the medication is helping.
I moved up through the doses month by month and I am currently working through maintenance. My goal now is not just to lose weight. It is to understand what I need to do to keep it off long term.
I share my honest experience of Mounjaro, including the good parts, the challenges, the mistakes I made and the things I would do differently if I was starting again.

One of the biggest changes for me was realising I did not need to figure it all out alone.
That is why I talk about getting proper support around weight loss, especially if you are using medication like Mounjaro. Having medical guidance, accountability and someone to help you think through nutrition, exercise and long-term maintenance can make a huge difference.
This is also why I have worked with Everwell. They offer medical support, coaching and a more structured approach for people using GLP-1 medication in Ireland. For me, that kind of support matters because weight loss is not just about getting the prescription. It is about having a plan around it.

I am putting together free downloadable guides for people who want a clear starting point.
These guides are based on the things I have learned through my own weight loss journey, including what helped me get the most out of Mounjaro, how I approached calories, why protein mattered so much and how I started building a routine that actually worked.
Current and upcoming guides include:
-
The Mounjaro Basics
-
-
Protein And Calories On Mounjaro
-
-
Exercise And Training For Weight Loss
-
-
Maintenance After Weight Loss
These are not medical advice. They are practical guides based on my own experience and the areas I think people should understand from the start.

Exercise became a massive part of my transformation.
At the start, it does not need to be complicated. Walking more, getting into a routine and building consistency can be enough to start changing things. Over time, I added weight training, gym sessions and a more structured weekly plan.
For me, training was not just about burning calories. It helped me build confidence, protect muscle, improve my fitness and feel like I was becoming a different version of myself instead of just a smaller version of the same person.
On this page, I will share the training approach I use now, including my gym split, walking routine and the simpler options I would suggest for someone starting from scratch.

There is no way around it. To lose weight, I needed to be in a calorie deficit.
But one of the biggest lessons for me was that it was not just about eating less of the same food that got me to my heaviest. I needed to improve the quality of what I was eating too.
Protein became a major focus for me. So did fibre, better meals, planning ahead and tracking what I was doing. I used Nutracheck to understand my calories, protein and fibre rather than guessing.
While I was losing weight, I aimed for roughly 2,500 to 2,750 calories per day depending on training and activity. Now that I am maintaining, I am closer to 2,900 calories with around 200 grams of protein.
This section will continue to grow as I share more of what a typical day of eating looks like for me.

The blog section is where I will share more detailed thoughts around weight loss, Mounjaro, maintenance, food, training and mindset.
Some posts will be based on videos I have made. Others will go deeper into questions I get asked all the time, such as what dose worked best for me, how I dealt with stalls, whether calories still matter on Mounjaro and what I am doing now that I am moving towards life after the medication.
The aim is to keep everything honest, practical and based on real experience.

If you are at the beginning, do not overcomplicate it.
Start by getting clear on where you are now. Look at your food, your movement, your support and your reason for doing this. If you are using Mounjaro or thinking about it, speak to a proper medical provider and make sure you understand what the medication does and what it does not do.
Then build the basics.
Eat enough protein. Track your calories if you need to. Walk more. Get support. Start strength training when you can. Do not wait until everything is perfect.
This page will keep growing over time with more guides, blog posts, videos and support options. My aim is to make fearo.com a place where people can come for honest weight loss support from someone who has actually lived it.
